Enodo Economics is proud to announce the establishment of its Senior Advisory Council (SAC). The SAC was officially inaugurated at an exclusive dinner event on 21st of March,2024, at London’s Mosimann’s club.

The theme for our first discussion was “Innovation Showdown: Authoritarianism vs. Liberal Democracy: Exploring the Crucibles of Creativity in the Chinese and American Systems”.

The founding members of Enodo’s SAC are renowned for their innovative thinking, unparalleled expertise, and distinguished careers. They will help Enodo Economics continue to provide its clients with invaluable strategic insights and expert guidance to navigate the complex landscape of economic, geopolitical, and technological developments in China and beyond.

Sir Alex Younger

Sir Alex Younger was for 30 years a career intelligence officer in Britain’s Secret Intelligence Service, MI6. He served in Europe, the Middle East and Afghanistan. He was appointed as Director of Counter Terrorism from 2009 to 2012, Head of Operations from 2012 to 2014 and then Chief of the Service from 2014 to 2020. Prior to SIS, Alex served in the British Army as an infantry officer. He attended St Andrews’ University, where he read computer science, among other things. Alex led MI6 during a period of unprecedented technological change, when both digital threats and opportunities intensified.

Orit Gadiesh

Orit Gadiesh is the Chairman of Bain & Company and a renowned expert on management and corporate strategy with decades of global experience. Orit has advised CEOs and top level management in structuring and managing portfolios, developing and implementing global strategy, digital strategy, executing turnarounds, improving organisational effectiveness, determining marketing channel and supply chain strategies, designing both performance improvement and growth programs, M&A and PMI. Prior to joining Bain, Orit served in the office of the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army. She holds degrees from Hebrew University, Jerusalem (BA, summa cumlaude) and Harvard Business School (MBA with highest honours). She was named a Baker Scholar and was presented the Brown Award. Orit volunteers her experience as a pragmatic strategist to the business, civic and academic community in both the local and global arenas.

Marino Valensise

Marino Valensise is Group Chief Investment Officer at Cardano. He has worked in the investment industry for over 35 years and prior to joining Cardano he spent 20 years at Barings Asset Management in several different roles, including the role of CIO for seven years. He was also Barings’ Head of the Multi Asset Group and Chairman of the Strategic Policy Group, and co-manager of the Baring Dynamic Allocation Fund.
